Developed and implemented an outreach strategy including partnership building with local organizations and community outreach with vulnerable groups.
Fundraising for the REACH Libya programme from 2016 (annual budget of approx. USD 1.5 million).
Disseminating research findings in various coordination forums and bilaterally to influence humanitarian and stakeholders and advocacy groups with messaging on implications on aid prioritisation and do no harm principles.
Responsible for quality assurance and providing research/technical support for all REACH assessments in North Africa (Libya/Tunisia) including: Vulnerability assessments with a multi-sectoral lens (food security, protection etc), migration assessments (cross-border, labour migration), social protection systems (access to services and exclusion from social protection systems of vulnerable groups including women, migrants, children).
Managed a team of over 35 international and local staff in Tunisia and Libya.
Country office management and acting as liaison between different departments: finance, HR, logistics; management of field staff (incl. remote management).
